Review: Somerset Park Suanplu Exclusive Residence

What the place you think if you want to escape from a chaos in Central of Bangkok?

Everyday we face the terrible traffic especially in central of Bangkok like Silom and Sathorn.

There is totally 235 units from 1-Bedroom to 3-Bedroom Apartments. It just renovated end of last year before I inspected... around September 2008.

Well.... I know it looks strange and distorted.... but this is a "Polio Bear", one in the world!!

You know... there is a lot of advantage of making a crochet bear.

If your life is busy, chaos, confuse, making a crochet can make you escape from these. When making a crochet doll, you have to concentrate what you are doing, if not you will forget the number you have to crocheted. So you will think nothing when you are making a crochet doll.

You may earn some extra money. Of course, if you are skillful enough and your doll is cute enough (not like mine T_T).

It can be a present to your friends. It's a hand make products, the worth is not the price but the effort and determination that you did make it worth.

Review: Citadines Bangkok

Is the word Citadines sound familiar to you? This Serviced Apartments is the brand of
Somerset & Ascott and very popular in Europe.

In Bangkok, there is 4 Citadines located in Sukhumvit soi 8, 11, 16 and 23 by accordingly.

I've been inspected these 4 properties once I took a one day inspection all Ascott property.

Here's a short review for the characteristic of Citadines.

This Serviced Apartments is equipped with modern style and high tech amenities. Due to the limited of room space, it'd appropriate for a single or honeymoon person. Anyway the room designed by usefully in every single of space, it can make you feel comfortable.

Basically the room starts from Studio to 1-Bedroom but only Citadines Soi 8 and 11 has a 2-Bedroom type. They are equipped in a same configuration which consists of living, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom but they're differentiate by color.

Citadines Bangkok Sukhumvit 8
The recently opened of Citadines in Bangkok. It's located in Sukhumvit Soi 8. It takes around 10 mins walk from BTS Nana Station to the apartment but you can call for a free shuttle Tuk-Tuk. The apartment has 130 units range from Studio, 1-Bedroom and 2-Bedroom. The room designed in a Black&White color. Furthermore, you can use the facilities like swimming pool and fitness for free but it's quite small for relax.

Citadines Bangkok Sukhumvit 11
This is also the new property from Citadines, just opened in last year. It's located just the opposite Soi of Citadines Bangkok Sukhumvit 8. You can go to BTS Nana station and call for a Tuk-Tuk as well. The property has 127 units and the room type & floor plan are same as Citadines Bangkok Sukhumvit 8 but the color is in Blue tone.

Citadines Bangkok Sukhumvit 16
The first Citadines opened in Thailand at Sukhumvit Soi 16. Even the location is in the heart of Bangkok but I think it takes some time to walk to the BTS and MRT if you are lazy to walk :P
The nearest BTS is Asoke station and the nearest MRT is Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. The property has 79 units and only Studio and 1-Bedroom which color in orange tone.

Citadines Bangkok Sukhumvit 23
This is the brand new property which is just opened from last year. There are 138 units for Studio and 1-Bedroom with violet tone. The apartment is located opposite Soi of Citadines Bangkok Sukhumvit 16. The nearest BTS is Asoke station.

For the price, it starts from 2,xxx to 5,xxx Baht per night.
If you are looking for a short tern rental in very Central of Bangkok and comfortable for your living, I offer you the Citadines.

Review: TENFACE Bangkok

Is the word "TENFACE" curious for you?

It refers to Thotsakan, a ten faced giant in Ramakien Epic.

So what's related to my blog? If you go to Wireless Road and inside Ruamrudee Soi 2, you will see one of the most aesthetic Serviced Apartments. The name is TENFACE

I've been inspected this apartment last year. It's easy to access this apartment, you can go by BTS at Pleon Chit station and call to the apartment for a free shuttle "Tuk-Tuk".

At TENFACE, You'll amaze since you're arrive. The entrance door looks like a warehouse!! First I arrived I can't find the door or lobby but when I walked to the door which I thought it's a painted wall, it's open automatically.

Just for a while, the sales staff greeting us at the lobby and show us the room. This is the brand new serviced apartments in Bangkok as it just opened from September 2008. There is only 79 units in the building starting from Studio to 2-Bedroom.

The first room type is 1-Bedroom Suite (61 Sqm.) which is the umpteenth room in the building, 59 units. The room consists of 1 king size bed, 1 living, 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom. It also has balcony but too small. The price for this room type around 4,xxx Baht/night.

Next is 2-Bedroom Suite (110 Sqm.) which has only 8 units. The guest who stay in this room type will get an iPod Nano Video with AV dock and remote control as a complimentary during your stay. You'll have to return when check out. The room consists of 2 bedroom with king size bed, 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 1 dining room and 2 bathroom. The price for this room type is around 7,xxx Baht/night.



Ok, let's see 2-Bedroom Premier Suite (125 Sqm.), 11 units in the building. The room configuration same as 2-Bedroom Suite but the room size bigger and the price also big :P It's ONLY 8,xxx Baht/night.

Further from 1 and 2 bedroom, there's a TENFACE Suite which is only 1 unit in this property.
The size is 142 Sqm. There's 2 bedroom with king size bed, 1 large living, 1 kitchen, 1 dining room, 2 bathroom. You can play Hid and Seek in this room, I think....



The advantage of TENFACE is the design which is unique by itself. It's equipped with contemporary and Thai modern designed in every single room and building interior.
The room is painting with Thai Alphabet on a colorful background like yellow and red as well as in the lobby and restaurant, you'll see an elaborate painting exclusive oeuvre.

One more thing that's make me amazing is the complimentary from this apartment. It's CONDOM in two boxes which painting a Thai woman showing the size by her face....(I thought it's a matchbox) If you want to see, please stay at this apartment.

You can use wireless internet in the room and in public area in this apartment for free as well as the fitness facilities and shuttle service.

For the shuttle service is not ordinary, the owner of the apartment love a classic car. Further from Tuk Tuk, you 'll have a chance to take a sit on classic Benz!! Don't mention to the price because I don't know :P

Are these information enough to impress you? If you love to stay at a comfortable and privacy, I suggest you TENFACE.

Review: The Ascott Sathorn Bangkok

Good afternoon everyone!! I'm a little bit diligent today, so I’ve some review of one of the most attractive Serviced Apartments in Bangkok for you. That it’s……… The Ascott Sathorn…… This Bangkok Apartments is in the heart of Bangkok CBD, close to Empire Tower and easy access to Silom, Sathorn as well as BTS station, so… don’t mention to the price :P

I’ve been inspected this apartment last year and I’ve a collection of a small teddy bear which is a brand of this apartment, oh... you know... the client who stay at this apartment will get a lovely teddy bear as a complimentary.

Here it is===>

There is 177 units in the building from Studio, 1-Bedroom , 2-Bedroom and 3-Bedroom. Also the complete of facilities such outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, sauna, spa, beauty salon and restaurant.

Every single units are fully equipped with modern amenities. That’s make you’ll feel like stay at home…….. so why don’t you stay at home? Just kidding :P

Ok.. let’s review for each room type.

Studio Premier (58 Sqm.) The smallest type in this apartment which include of 1 king size bed. The twin bed is also available, but it’s on request. The maximum of people is 2 and can added 1 extra bed by pay some extra charges. There’s 1 bathroom, 1 living room and a small kitchen for you. The price is just 4,xxx per night….. so cheap huh? - -*



Next type is 1-Bedroom Executive (75 Sqm.) consists of 1 king size bed, 1 baht room, 1 living room and kitchen. It’s equipped like Studio but the size is bigger and the price is around 5,xxx Baht/night.

Another type is also 1-Bedroom but it’s 1-Bedroom Premier which the size bigger than Executive, 97 Sqm. , same furnished and prices are a little bit high around 5,5xx Baht/night

Ok, let’s see 2-Bedroom Deluxe (106 Sqm.) There’s 2 Bedroom (one with king size bed and one with sofa bed) 2 baht room, 1 living room and kitchen. The price is 6,xxx Baht/night

Another 2-Bedroom is 2-Bedroom Executive which the size is 123 Sqm. and has 1 king size bed and 1 queen size bed, price a little bit high 7,xxx Baht/night

The last one is 3-Bedroom Executive (167 Sqm.) which is the biggest type in this apartment. There’s 3 bedroom, 2 baht room 1 living room and kitchen.
This type can stay up to 6 persons, and the price well….. 1x,xxx Baht/night.

So who would like to stay at the luxury and comfortable place in the central city of Bangkok and of course Rich!! I suggest you this apartment..
