Review: The Ascott Sathorn Bangkok

Good afternoon everyone!! I'm a little bit diligent today, so I’ve some review of one of the most attractive Serviced Apartments in Bangkok for you. That it’s……… The Ascott Sathorn…… This Bangkok Apartments is in the heart of Bangkok CBD, close to Empire Tower and easy access to Silom, Sathorn as well as BTS station, so… don’t mention to the price :P

I’ve been inspected this apartment last year and I’ve a collection of a small teddy bear which is a brand of this apartment, oh... you know... the client who stay at this apartment will get a lovely teddy bear as a complimentary.

Here it is===>

There is 177 units in the building from Studio, 1-Bedroom , 2-Bedroom and 3-Bedroom. Also the complete of facilities such outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, sauna, spa, beauty salon and restaurant.

Every single units are fully equipped with modern amenities. That’s make you’ll feel like stay at home…….. so why don’t you stay at home? Just kidding :P

Ok.. let’s review for each room type.

Studio Premier (58 Sqm.) The smallest type in this apartment which include of 1 king size bed. The twin bed is also available, but it’s on request. The maximum of people is 2 and can added 1 extra bed by pay some extra charges. There’s 1 bathroom, 1 living room and a small kitchen for you. The price is just 4,xxx per night….. so cheap huh? - -*



Next type is 1-Bedroom Executive (75 Sqm.) consists of 1 king size bed, 1 baht room, 1 living room and kitchen. It’s equipped like Studio but the size is bigger and the price is around 5,xxx Baht/night.

Another type is also 1-Bedroom but it’s 1-Bedroom Premier which the size bigger than Executive, 97 Sqm. , same furnished and prices are a little bit high around 5,5xx Baht/night

Ok, let’s see 2-Bedroom Deluxe (106 Sqm.) There’s 2 Bedroom (one with king size bed and one with sofa bed) 2 baht room, 1 living room and kitchen. The price is 6,xxx Baht/night

Another 2-Bedroom is 2-Bedroom Executive which the size is 123 Sqm. and has 1 king size bed and 1 queen size bed, price a little bit high 7,xxx Baht/night

The last one is 3-Bedroom Executive (167 Sqm.) which is the biggest type in this apartment. There’s 3 bedroom, 2 baht room 1 living room and kitchen.
This type can stay up to 6 persons, and the price well….. 1x,xxx Baht/night.

So who would like to stay at the luxury and comfortable place in the central city of Bangkok and of course Rich!! I suggest you this apartment..

Review: Seven Place Executive Residence

Hello… after passing the worst week of my life… and back to normal life… I’ve a time to review Serviced Apartments in Bangkok.. that it’s….. Seven Place Executive Residence …. I review this apartment first because of my own satisfy ☺

This Serviced Apartments located at Suknumvit 71 which is quite far from Bangkok CBD. That’s an inferior of this apartments. Anyway if you need to escape from ado and stay as a privacy, I’d like to suggest you this apartment. There’s only 18 units in the building and chic style with modern furnished. The owner designed by himself and the room size very huge!! from 114-300 Sqm. This Serviced Apartments has only 2 room type 2-Bedroom and 3-Bedroom only. Alright let’s review each room type… Are you ready?

Let’s begin with Penthouse, the biggest room type of this apartment which is 300 Sqm. in it size!! There are 3 bedroom with balcony, 1 living room, 3 baht room (Jacuzzi and shower wow!!) kitchen and maid room.

The master bedroom of this type is very impressing me. You can open the curtain at the ceiling to see the star… wow.. romantic huh?

Next room type is also 3-Bedroom but the size smaller which is 285 Sqm. The room configuration is same as penthouse which is 3 bedroom, 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 3 bath room and 1 maid room. The room equipped with modern amenities and colorful designed.

This is 2-Bedroom Deplex which has 2 room size, 202 Sqm. and 208 Sqm. There’s 2 Bedroom with balcony, 2 bath room, 1 living room, kitchen and 1 maid room. The distinctive of this room type is it has a 2 storey in the room. That makes you feel like stay at home.

The last room type is 2-Bedroom 114 Sq.m. (smallest size!!) There’s 2 bedroom which balcony, 2 bathroom, 1 living room and kitchen, without maid room.

Every single room at Seven Place Executive Residence equipped with modern style, complete of amenities which is control by electricity so if there’s problem with electric…. unlucky for you. If you have your own laptop you can use the internet for free as well.

The facilities of this apartment also available such as outdoor swimming pool on rooftop, fitness, restaurant and room service.

The price is daily, weekly and monthly.

What's Serviced Apartments?

ok.. let’s review about “ Serviced Apartments”

Some people may think what the Serviced Apartment is? Hotel? Condo? Apartment?
Actually Serviced Apartments is a kind of Real Estate which is not hotel and apartment.
So what is it should be?

Most of Thai people are always familiar with hotel when they would like to travel but for the foreigners, Serviced Apartments are the most famous as they feel like stay at home.

Serviced Apartments are different from hotel which you can rent by daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly. The room configuration completely different from a hotel as it consists of bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, some apartment has washer and dryer as well. All of these make you feel like stay at home.

Furthermore Serviced Apartments provided you a service and free using of facilities for you such as maid service, room service, breakfast, swimming pool, spa, sauna, fitness, etc.

The prices range of Serviced Apartments are from 900 Baht up to 10,000 Baht per night depend on the room type, location and quality of the apartments. Normally there are 4 room types which the prices are not depend on the number of guest but the prices are set per room type, but somehow they are limit the number of the guest as well.

Here’s the room type and number of guest

Studio: 2 persons
1-Bedroom: 2 persons
2-Bedroom: 4 persons
3-Bedroom: 6 persons

Also some Serviced Apartments has 4-Bedroom to the Penthouse which is very luxury. Anyway you can add 1 extra bed in some room type which you have to pay some extra charge.

For this reason, Serviced Apartments are continually famous in Thailand and also in Asia which you will see a lot of new Serviced Apartments opening in Bangkok. The well know brand of Serviced Apartments is Somerset & Ascott, Citadines, Compass Hospitality, Oakwood City Residence.

After reading this information, I hope you get some idea of Serviced Apartments. So next time I’ll give you some review of Serviced Apartment which I’ve been inspected, of course in Bangkok :)
